Members from Princeton College Democrats have the power to endorse candidates for campus, local, state, and national elections through a simple majority vote of its members in an unofficial capacity from the university. We believe that endorsing candidates is an essential part of our commitment to civic engagement and shaping the political landscape.
We remain committed to respecting the ideological diversity of our members. While we endorse candidates, we recognize the importance of providing a platform for different perspectives. As such, we will continue to publicize events for Democratic candidates and groups to our members. However, it is crucial to note that such publicity does not constitute an official endorsement.
Statements
Princeton College Democrats may release official statements that take a stance on specific actions or policies. To request a statement, please email pudems@princeton.edu. If approved by a majority of our membership, statements will be posted here and on our social media.
